The 3 most fun DISNEY songs for the GUITAR (chords on screen)

2 minutes read

I was in Austria this past couple of weeks as part of my musical Eurotrip and got to bring this fun idea to life with an amazing local singer (a pro in one of the most competitive places for musicians in the world!).

Enjoy – the best Disney songs to play on the acoustic guitar!

The singer who’s with me is Charlotte Ónodi – who’s a soprano in the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The Disney songs on guitar we performed featured Disney classics from Disney films The Jungle Book, Pocahontas, and Toy Story:

  • The Bear Necessities
  • Colors Of The Wind
  • You’ve Got A Friend In Me

Watch our performance with the chords here:

I am also a big Disney fan of the film The Lion King. How about a guitar song from the classic The Lion King? Here is an awesome guide I found on YouTube with chords on how to play Hakuna Matata on the guitar. I think this song is also perfect for the ukulele.

Learning to play a Disney song doesn’t need to be hard. In fact, you can learn to play a song with just a single guitar strumming pattern. Do you want to know how? Here’s a YouTube guitar music lesson with chords I found on how you can play the following Disney guitar songs with a single guitar strumming (and the singer has a nice voice, too):

  1. Can You Feel The Love Tonight (The Lion King)
  2. Let It Go (Frozen)
  3. I See The Light (Tangled)
  4. Tale As Old As Time (Beauty And The Beast)
  5. How Far I’ll Go (Moana)

I hope these chord tutorials/music lesson videos taught you how to play your favorite Disney song. What’s your favorite Disney song? Are you a big fan of Disney films? What Disney song can you play with your guitar? Share them in the comments below.
